Peaseley & Derryberry represents numerous lenders in U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) insured financing on multifamily projects across the country. We also counsel owners of multifamily and health care projects on HUD 223(a)(7), 223(f), 232/223(f) and 221(d)(4) transactions; Section 8 Housing Contracts and Mark-to-Market (M2M) transactions.
In Tennessee, we represent multifamily, affordable, senior citizen and healthcare facility developers in various financing transactions, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (GSEs) and HUD insured loans.
Land Development
We address land use and zoning issues and prepare and negotiate construction contracts for commercial projects of all sizes.
Our attorneys are skilled in creating condominium property regimes under the Tennessee Condominium Act of 2008 and the Tennessee Horizontal Property Act and advising clients about those laws.
Local Counsel
Our attorneys serve as local counsel in Tennessee and Virginia for out of state developers and issue opinion letters for lenders in construction financing, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and HUD insured transactions
